Töstan 3.5 - 4.1ghz-ini, isegi siis muutub asi silmnähtavalt.

Q8200 & Q6600 gets cheaper on October 19th

Intel plans to cut the price of two rather popular quad core products. This will happen on the October 19th and Core 2 Quad Q8200 with 2.33GHz clock, 4MB cache and FSB 1333 will drop from current $224 to $203.
Core 2 Quad 6600, the good old 65nm quad core, still the most popular and widespread one is going to drop from current $193 to $183. Core 2 Quad 6600 works at 2.4GHz has 8MB cache and works with FSB1066.

At this date Intel will also cut some Core 2 prices and Pentium dual core.

Sources at motherboard vendors tell that by Q1 2009, the Core 2 Extreme QX9770 and QX9650 discontinue, with PDNs being issued. They will be totally phased-out by Q2. The company will also send out PDNs for four quad-core CPUs including the Core 2 Quad Q9450, ten dual-core CPUs including the Core 2 Duo E8300, three Pentium CPUs including the Pentium E2220 and the Celeron E1200 starting in November, and all products will phase out between the first and second quarters next year. Intel also reduced pricing of the Core 2 Duo E7300 (2.53GHz, 3MB cache, 1066MHz PSB) by 15% from $133 to 113%. Additionally, the company slashed the costs of the Pentium dual-core chips E2220 (2.40GHz, 1MB cache, 800MHz PSB) and E2200 (2.20GHz, 1MB cache, 800MHz PSB) to $74 and $64, respectively, down 12% and 14% from the previous levels.
